🤍 A Celestial Birthday 🤍 Huene’s lover and protégé Horst P. Horst was born on this day in 1906 in Germany. ‘Horst and Natasha Paley, 1932, photographed by George Hoyningen-Huene. A still from a movie - it had no title and no plot, and was never completed - that Huene was shooting. 🤍Lisa Fonssagrives-Penn🤍 Born on this day in 1911. Hoyningen-Huene photographed the Swedish model for Vogue in 1938 wearing a pale, flowing evening dress by Vionnet. Lisa studied art and dance in Berlin before moving to Paris and taking up modelling. It would be another decade before she met Irving Penn, star photographer at American Vogue, whom she married in 1950.
